KAUSHAL BODH (Vocational Education)

In line with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023, D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, is introducing mandatory vocational education (Kaushal Bodh) for middle-level students. The program emphasizes experiential learning through projects rather than traditional testing.

This initiative aims to foster a maker mindset, bridge the gap between education and work, promote the dignity of labour, reduce rote learning, and build hands-on real-world skills such as creativity, problem-solving, and vocational familiarity.

The program will be offered in three key domains:

Life – focusing on gardening, agriculture, and animal care

Machines – covering mechanics, electronics, and robotics

Human Services – emphasizing care giving, first aid, digital safety, and food preservation.
