Report on Jal Pakhwada 2026 – A Step Towards Water Conservation
Save Water, Secure the Future
Water is the elixir of life—precious, powerful, and irreplaceable. As part of the Ministry of Education’s initiative, D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, under the able guidance of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, proudly observed Jal Pakhwada 2026 in the month of April, 2026 to foster awareness, responsibility, and sustainable action towards water conservation among students.
A series of engaging activities—including a Quiz Competition on Water Conservation, Poster Making Activity, and informative sessions—were conducted to educate students about the value of every single drop and to highlight the urgent need to protect our water resources. These initiatives encouraged children to actively participate in this noble cause.
Jal Pakhwada is not merely an event; it is a movement that inspires young learners to become ‘Jal Rakshaks’, Guardians of Water, individuals who understand, respect, and conserve water in their daily lives.
The Principal motivated students to act responsibly and contribute actively towards water conservation. She emphasized that every small effort can make a significant difference in protecting this vital resource.
Students enthusiastically participated in the pledge ceremony, demonstrating their strong commitment to this meaningful initiative. A key highlight of the programme was an awareness session on Rainwater Harvesting, where students learned how rainwater can be collected, stored, and reused. Demonstrations helped them understand its role in recharging groundwater and reducing water scarcity.
The celebration concluded with a powerful message to protect water resources and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.
