Report on Assembly Programme on International Labour Day

The students of Class VIII B, under the inspiring leadership of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, presented an assembly programme on International Labour Day. The students enthralled everyone with their spirited performance. The message was loud and clear with a thought-provoking speech and the poem recitation on Child Labour brought out the stark reality of exploitation, want and discrimination still existing in our society.  The speech on Dignity of labour explained the need to accord respect and dignity to every human being irrespective of the career pursued by them. The Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment, Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged the audience to imbibe the value imparted through the well-orchestrated assembly. The assembly programme concluded with Jai Gosh.
