Financial literacy is the ability to use knowledge and skills to manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime.

So under the initiative of D.A.V. College Managing Committee, Financial and Literacy Entrepreneur Club was introduced in  D.A.V.Public School, Sector 37 from the session 2018-19 under the able guidance of its Visionary Principal Ms.Deepti Jagota. This club is organizing a series of activities for the students of Classes 3 to 5 with the support and guidance of its Finance Expert Supervisory Head Ms.Dimple Bhatia.

The activity held for Class 3 on 29th September, 2022 was on the Topic-'Concept of Barter System and Evolution of money.'  A PPT was shown to the students and the activities were done in the classes.

For Class 4 the Topic was-'Making Collage or poster on the symbols of different currency notes' on 6th October, 2022.

For Class 5 the Topic was ' Meaning and Functions of Bank' and it was shown  through Educational films, stories and videos on 10th October,2022.
