D.A.V. School, Sector-37 Organised ‘No Nasha Nation’ Campaign
Faridabad/Alive News : Report on the Hawan Organised for the ‘No Nasha Nation’ Campaign With the blessing and guidance of Arya Rattan Punam Suri – Padma Shri, President, DAV College Managing Committee, and the dynamic leadership of Yogi Suri, National President, Arya Yuva Samaj, a nationwide mission has been initiated by DAVCMC in collaboration with Arya Yuva Samaj through the ‘No Nasha Nation’ Campaign to build a drug-free India.
Strengthening this noble endeavour, D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, under the able guidance of the School Principal, Ms Deepti Jagota, organised a grand 100-Kundiya Hawan-Yajna on December 7, 2025.
The ceremony began with the chanting of sacred mantras, resonating throughout the campus and purifying the environment, instilling peace, positivity, and a sense of collective responsibility. The spiritually charged atmosphere inspired introspection and motivated participants to pledge their commitment to a life free of harmful substances.
Seated at the sacred Hawan Kund, the students offered oblations with deep devotion, symbolising their unity and their resolve to spread awareness against substance abuse. As a part of this noble campaign, the students organised a rally to raise awareness in society. They also performed street plays at various locations so that the harmful effects of drugs could be clearly conveyed to the public. This initiative aimed to encourage people from all walks of life to join the mission and help create a drug-free environment.
Sachin Thakur, President of BJP Yuva Morcha, Faridabad, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Ajay Pratap Bhadana, Vice President, BJP Yuva Morcha, Faridabad, and Amit Bhardwaj, BJP candidate, Rakesh Malik, SHO, Sarai Khwaja, Group Captain (Retd.) I. D. Sharma, President, RWA Sector-37, Sushil Yadav, Secretary, RWA, Sector-37, DSP Birem Singh Poswal (Retd.) and Amit Khanna, the Fastest Man of India, International Athlete, Assistant Commissioner (Customs & GST), were also present in this auspicious ceremony as special guests.
All the dignitaries expressed their unwavering support for the campaign and encouraged everyone to work together towards building a healthy, strong, and addiction-free nation. The distinguished guests appreciated the initiative, emphasising that even the greatest challenges can be overcome through collective efforts.
They noted that addiction is not merely an individual issue but a societal problem that is harming future generations like a termite. They also expressed confidence that such efforts will successfully raise awareness among youth and society, helping many break free from the grip of addiction.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants took an oath to make India free from addiction. They pledged to stay away from the toxic substances themselves and to play a significant role in spreading the message of a drug-free society. The program concluded with a shared commitment to building a nation free of drugs, highlighting that such collective events and awareness activities are key to eliminating the threat of narcotics from society.
