REPORT ON MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK

D.A.V Public School Sector-37, Faridabad, observed Mental Health Awareness Week from 13th October to 18th October 2025 under the inspiring guidance of our Principal, Ms.DeeptiJagota. The week was dedicated to promote emotional well-being and spreading awareness about the importance of mental health among students.

To mark the occasion, students and teachers wore green ribbons, symbolizing solidarity and the collective effort to break the stigma surrounding mental health. Throughout the week, a variety of informative and engaging activities were organized to foster open conversations and empathy within the school community.

The Class XII Psychology students conducted insightful sessions on bullying and peer pressure, emphasizing the values of empathy, self-confidence, and mutual respect. Their interactive discussions encouraged students to express themselves freely and adopt healthy coping strategies.

Adding to the impact, the Psychology students of Classes XI and XII presented a thought-provoking NukkadNatak (street play) on drug abuse awareness. The performance powerfully highlighted the consequences of substance misuse and inspired students to make responsible life choices.

The week concluded with a collective pledge to support one another and continue promoting mental health awareness. Overall, the initiative was a resounding success, reinforcing the belief that mental health is as vital as physical health.
