An Educational Visit to Old Age Home

D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, organized an educational visit to ‘SNEH ASHRAM’-  an old-age home in Sector 19, Faridabad, under the able  guidance of Respected Principal ma'am Ms.Deepti Jagota.

The visit aimed to sensitize students to the challenges faced by the elderly, fostering empathy and compassion. Psychology stream students of Classes XI and XII gained practical insights into human development and behavior by observing the living conditions and daily routines of the residents.

Meaningful interactions with the elderly, through activities like games, singing, and conversations, helped break the ice and build connections. The visit was a valuable experience, teaching students the importance of respecting and caring for the elderly.
