The Pre-Primary Segment of D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm and festive fervour on 16 October 2026 in the school playground, witnessing the active participation of all Pre-Primary students.

The programme commenced with the soulful recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and devotional bhajans by the students. A captivating enactment of the Ramayana by the Music Department beautifully depicted the triumph of good over evil, while vibrant dance performances added colour and joy to the occasion.

The highlight of the celebration was the symbolic burning of Ravana's effigy by Teacher-in-Charge, Ms. Sumita Dey and Middle Segment's Supervisory Head, Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul, reinforcing the victory of righteousness over evil.

The entire celebration was thoughtfully planned under the able mentorship and direction of Ms. Adarsh Sharma, Supervisory Head (Primary and Pre-Primary), whose valuable inputs ensured the smooth organisation of the event.

The celebration concluded on a joyful and meaningful note, instilling in young minds the timeless values of truth, goodness and righteousness while fostering an appreciation for India's rich cultural heritage.
