REPORT ON 80^TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

                    Freedom in Mind, Faith in Words, Proud to be an INDIAN!!!!

D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, under the able guidance of the School
Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota, celebrated India’s 80^th Independence Day with full zeal and fervour. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate the occasion. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. Also, various activities were organised to inspire responsibility  and celebrate national integration.

The assembly commenced with the school choir enchanting the Gayatri Mantra followed by hoisting of the National Flag by the Supervisory Heads and Sports Teachers along with the National Anthem. It was followed by a heartfelt poem recitation.  The audience was mesmerized by the melodious rendition of a patriotic song by the choir beautifully showcasing the unity and diversity of India that invoked a patriotic feeling in us that it is our duty to contribute positively to the progress of our country.

The Supervisory Head of the Senior Segment, Ms. Sumita Dey expressed heartfelt appreciation for the students’ efforts and motivated the students to take on the responsibility to shape a better future of our country and use the freedom wisely through education discipline and hardwork. The event proved to be a valuable initiative that fostered national unity, instilled patriotism, and reminded students of their civic duties to build a better future for their country.
