Commerce Students Explore Corporate Career Pathways at ICSI

To broaden students' career horizons and provide practical exposure to professionalopportunities in the field of commerce, the Commerce Department of D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad organised an educational visit to the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI),Faridabad for the students of Class XII Commerce on Tuesday, 29 July 2026. The visit was conducted under the able guidance and leadership of the school's esteemed Principal, Ms. DeeptiJagota.

The Career Awareness Programme aimed to acquaint students with the profession of Company Secretary and the diverse career opportunities available in the corporate sector. Experts from ICSI delivered insightful sessions explaining the structure of the Company Secretary (CS) course, the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), training requirements, and the significant role of Company Secretaries in ensuring corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

A lively interactive session followed, during which students enthusiastically engaged with the speakers, sought clarification on career prospects, and gained valuable guidance from experienced professionals. The visit offered a meaningful blend of academic learning and real-world exposure, enabling students to make informed decisions about their future careers. The Principal appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of such experiential learning opportunities in shaping students' professional aspirations.
