REPORT ON INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The badge of leadership is not a symbol of authority, but a reminder of responsibility.

An Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion that symbolises the formal conferring of authority, responsibility, and leadership upon the deserving students. Upholding this cherished tradition, D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, under the visionary leadership of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, celebrated its Annual Investiture Ceremony with great dignity and grandeur for the Middle, Secondary, and Senior Secondary Segments on 22 July 2026. The ceremony commenced with the gracious welcome of the Chief Guest, Dr. Sulekha, a distinguished alumna of the school, by the Principal along with the Supervisory Heads, Ms. Sumita Dey and Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul. The presentation of the School Report for the Academic Session 2025–26 highlighted the institution's remarkable achievements in scholastic, co-scholastic, sports, and extracurricular domains. The highlight of the ceremony was the investiture of 132 newly elected student leaders, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Yojak, Yojika, House Captains, Vice-Captains, Prefects, and Student Council Members, who were ceremonially adorned with badges and sashes.

The Oath-Taking Ceremony marked the emotional high point of the event as the council members pledged to uphold the honour and dignity of their alma mater and to discharge their duties with sincerity, integrity, fairness, and dedication. In her inspiring address, the Principal congratulated the office bearers on earning these prestigious positions through merit and commitment and urged them to lead by example, uphold the school's rich traditions and values, and work collaboratively for the welfare of the student community. The ceremony concluded with heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the young leaders as they embarked on their journey of responsible leadership.
