Inspired by the dynamic leadership and visionary guidance of Ms. Deepti Jagota, Principal, D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, the Primary Segment organized a Van Mahotsav March on 7th July, 2026 to celebrate Van Mahotsav, which is observed every year at the onset of the monsoon season. The event was organized by the Planet-37 Club, the environmental club of the Primary Segment.

The march aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of forest conservation and tree plantation. The young students enthusiastically marched through the school corridors carrying colourful placards and raising thought-provoking slogans promoting a greener and healthier environment. Their curiosity to learn and determination to bring about positive change were clearly reflected on their cheerful faces.

To further strengthen the message of environmental conservation, the Planet-37 Club also organized a Plantation Drive on 23rd July, 2026. Students enthusiastically planted saplings within the school premises and took a pledge to nurture and protect them. The activity reinforced the belief that every tree planted today is a valuable contribution towards a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.

The Supervisory Head of the Primary Segment, Ms. Adarsh Sharma, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and remarked that such meaningful initiatives help instill environmental awareness, social responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to protecting nature.
