Cyber Security Awareness Programme

D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, conducted a Cyber Security Awareness Programme under the inspiring guidance of Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota, through the initiative of the Connect to Computer Club (C2C Club) on November 10, 2025.

The seminar was conducted by Mr. Dheeraj Saraswat and Mr. Kuldeep Chaudhary from the Cyber Crime Branch. It helped the students of Classes 4 and 5 understand safe online practices and ways to protect themselves from cyber threats.

The officials guided the students about government websites such as www.ceir.gov.in and www.cybercrime.gov.in, the helpline number 1930, and the importance of two-factor authentication on WhatsApp accounts.

C2C Club students, along with council members, presented slogans on cyber security. Various queries of students related to cyber crimes were also addressed by the officials.

The event was well coordinated under the supervision of Ms. Adarsh Sharma, Supervisory Head of the Pre-Primary and Primary Segment, who appreciated the efforts of the C2C Club in spreading awareness among students.

The programme proved to be informative and helped the students become smart, safe, and confident digital citizens.
