D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, celebrated Children’s Day with great zeal, enthusiasm, and joyful participation. The entire day was thoughtfully planned to honour the spirit, energy, and creativity of our young learners from the Pre-Primary and Primary segments.
The celebration began with a warm welcome by the teachers, followed by captivating performances by the tiny tots of LKG and UKG, who mesmerised the audience with their adorable dance moves and lively expressions. Students of Classes I and II added charm to the event through impressive role-plays, mimicry, and magic shows, filling the atmosphere with laughter and excitement.
A major highlight of the day was the Inter-House Folk Dance Competition for students of Classes III to V, specially organised to make the celebration memorable. All four houses presented vibrant folk dance performances representing different states of India. The students performed with confidence, grace, and teamwork, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of our country. Colourful costumes, rhythmic beats, and energetic choreography made the event a delightful and unforgettable experience for everyone.
The presence of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, added motivation and warmth to the celebration. Ma’am appreciated the efforts of teachers and students, encouraging the young learners to continue showcasing their talents with enthusiasm. The event was conducted under the valuable guidance of the Supervisory Head, Ms. Adarsh Sharma, whose support and coordination ensured its smooth and well-organised execution.
Teachers worked diligently to guide and prepare the students, and the audience cheered wholeheartedly for each performance, creating an environment filled with joy, culture, and festive spirit.
Overall, the Children’s Day celebration, combined with the Inter-House Folk Dance Competition, created beautiful memories for all and highlighted the importance of happiness, creativity, and togetherness in school life.
