Industrial Visit to Radio Maharani 89.6 FM
(Class XII - Mass Media Students)

The students of Mass Media from Class XII visited Radio Maharani 89.6 FM, situated in NIT, Faridabad on 12th November 2025 as part of an industrial visit organized by the school. It aimed to provide students with first-hand exposure to the functioning of a professional radio station.

The students were warmly welcomed by Ms.Sapna Suri, Station Head, who enthusiastically introduced them to the workings of the radio industry and divided them into groups to understand behind-the-scenes operations. The students were shown various aspects of radio programming such as fillers, links, and beds through live examples.

A special highlight of the visit was when nine students from the school were selected to record fillers in their own voices, guided by professional RJs who also shared valuable technical and creative tips. Students additionally interacted with content writers and sound engineers, gaining deeper insight into the teamwork that drives radio production.

The session concluded with the distribution of Certificates of Appreciation and an invitation to attend the World Radio Day celebration on February 13th.

The visit, made possible through the encouragement and support of Principal Ms.Deepti Jagota, proved to be a highly enriching experience that inspired students to explore the vast and dynamic world of mass communication.
