Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is a vital aspect of a student's overall well-being and academic success. Schools play an important role in promoting mental health, providing support, and fostering a positive environment.
To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month (October 2025), D.A.V. Public School, Sector–37, Faridabad, organized various activities in the Primary Wing under the guidance of our visionary Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, promoting a school-wide culture of well-being and mindfulness.
Class I: Square Breathing – Breathing exercises help calm the body and mind.
Class II: Positive Affirmations – They help us stay motivated and develop a positive attitude towards ourselves and others.
Class III: Feeling Flower – This activity helps students become aware of their emotions and feelings towards themselves and others.
Class IV: Jar of Gratitude – Practising gratitude improves physical and mental well-being by reducing stress and increasing happiness.
Class V: Poster Making on Mental Health Awareness – Students expressed that mental health provides the foundation for overall well-being.
Throughout the month, a variety of informative and engaging activities were organized to encourage open conversations and empathy within the school community.
The students of the Primary Wing showcased their activities and learning at the Parent- Teacher Meeting on October 18,2025. The event was conducted with the kind support and encouragement of our Supervisory Head, Ms. Adarsh Sharma. The Chief Guest, Group Captain Sh. I.D. Sharma, President, RWA Sector–37, Faridabad, along with other esteemed guests, appreciated the efforts of the children, reinforcing the belief that mental health is as vital as physical health.
