Diwali is one of the most significant and widely celebrated festivals in India. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. However, over the years, Diwali celebrations have raised concerns due to the unsafe use of firecrackers, rising air and noise pollution, and an increase in fire accidents and injuries. Under the leadership of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, the students of Class VI C presented a splendid Class Show -  Celebrating a Safe and Green Diwali on 15 October 2025.

An enthralling and thought-provoking Nukkad Natak conveyed the message vividly that an eco-friendly and safe Diwali is not just about avoiding mishaps but making the festival enjoyable for everyone, including the environment. They also offered practical solutions to enjoy the festival without harming anyone. The children expressed their allegiance to the cause by taking an oath. A spectacular dance performance by the nimble-footed dancers of the class was a true expression of joy and exhilaration.

The Principal, in her address, reiterated that Diwali is not only about enjoyment but about taking safe and concrete efforts towards an environment-friendly Diwali by adopting simple precautions, choosing greener alternatives, and being considerate of others. The event was well-appreciated by parents and the students and it came to a close with the Samapan Geet and Jai Gosh.
