Report on Inter-House Patriotic Orchestra Competition

Patriotism is the essence that throbs in the heart of every Indian, and what better way to express one’s love and devotion for the nation than through music? After all, music is to the soul what words are to the mind. To foster the holistic development of the students and to inculcate appreciation for music, an interesting Inter-House Patriotic Orchestra was organised for Middle Segment students at D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad on 29 August 2025 under the leadership of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota. The participants of the six houses set the stage on fire with their soul-stirring performances. The melodious instrumental rendition of patriotic songs by young talents was a musical treat. The Everest House was adjudged first, with the Vindhyachal House bagging the second position and the Aravali House stood third. The Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul appreciated the efforts of the students. The event was a success as the students learnt to appreciate music and absorbed the patriotic fervour that permeated the atmosphere through the spell binding performances.
