Educational Trip to Gurukul, Indraprastha

On 23rd August 2025, the students of Class V, Primary Wing, D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad went for an S.U.P.W. Educational Trip to Gurukul, Indraprastha. This enriching opportunity was provided under the guidance of our Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota.

The visit offered students a glimpse of the Gurukul system where learning takes place in natural surroundings with values of brotherhood, humanity, love, and discipline. They also explored the museum where Freedom Fighters used to plan their movements against British rule. A quiz on patriots, conducted by a Gurukul student, saw active participation from our children. The Principal sir of Gurukul further shared insights on subjects taught and the daily routine of pupils.

The entire trip was carried out with the constant encouragement of our Supervisory Head, Ms. Adarsh Sharma, and proved to be a valuable experience that enriched learning beyond the classroom while reinforcing the ideals of value-based education that the D.A.V. Organization stands for.
