The Investiture Ceremony held in D.A.V Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad on 1st August 2025 for the academic session 2026–27. The event celebrated the values of trust, service, and responsibility, as newly elected student leaders formally took charge of their roles.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome extended to Honourabe Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, Supervisory Head of Secondary and Senior Secondary Segment, Ms. Sumita Dey, respected faculty members, and students. The school was privileged to welcome the Chief Guest, Mr. Dev Krishna Srivastava, an illustrious alumnus and video editor currently associated with Trusted Media Brands. His inspiring journey and creative accomplishments served as a powerful source of motivation for the students.
The event began with the presentation of the Annual Report for Classes IX to XII, highlighting the achievements of the previous session. This was followed by the official induction of the Student Council, where sashes and badges were conferred upon the new leaders, acknowledging their dedication and leadership potential.
A significant moment of the ceremony was the Flag Handover, where the outgoing Head Girl, Divyanshi, and Head Boy, Laksh Singh Latwal (Session 2025–26) ceremoniously passed the school flag to the newly elected Head Girl, Hemanshi Sengar, and Head Boy, Shauray Shashi Mishra. This symbolic act reflected the proud transfer of responsibility and the continuity of leadership.
The leaders of all six school houses, Aravali, Everest, Himalaya, Nilgiri, Shivalik, and Vindhyachal were also invested with their respective badges in a spirited and encouraging atmosphere. The ceremony progressed to the Oath-Taking, where all student leaders solemnly pledged to uphold the values, discipline, and ethos of the school.
The School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota shared her thoughts on the importance of leading by example and urged the students to serve with humility and courage.
The Investiture Ceremony 2025 was a proud and inspiring occasion that reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible, thoughtful, and confident future leaders.
