‘Great leaders don’t set out to be leaders; they set out to make a difference.’
An investiture ceremony is a significant event that showcases the essence of leadership and responsibility. The ethos of D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, lies in nurturing talent and instilling 21st-century skills among its students. To achieve this aim, the school, under the guidance of its visionary leader, the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota organised an Investiture Ceremony for the Middle Segment students on 29 July 2025. The Chief Guest, Shri. Rachit Bedi, an alumnus of the school, was given a warm welcome by the School Principal and the Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment, Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul.
The newly elected Yojak - Piyush Kumar Jha and Yojika - Shatakshi of Class VIII, as well as the Captain and Vice-Captains of the six houses, had the honour of being invested with badges and sashes by the dignitaries. With great confidence and zeal, the Co-curricular Annual Report was read by the outgoing Head Boy Sahil and the Head Girl, Trisha Sharma. It was a proud moment for the Student Council Members as they took the oath pledging their deep commitment to uphold the values of the school and work tirelessly for the betterment of their fellow students. The Principal congratulated the student leaders for their preparedness to take up the responsibility and reminded them of the duty that comes with the post. The Investiture Ceremony was a poignant reminder of the trust placed in them and their commitment towards justifying the faith. The event was a great success as it instilled a sense of pride and belongingness among the students while reinforcing their loyalty towards their school.
