Bamboo Plate Decoration (Folk Art)& Almanac Cover Page Designing Competition
Inter-House Competition (Middle Segment)

Competitions are the gateways to opportunities that lead to success.  D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, under its visionary leader, the School Principal, Ms.DeeptiJagota, organises such competitions regularly.  The school organised an interesting Inter-House Competition for the Middle Segment students on 16 May 2025, to foster creativity, critical thinking, develop new skills, and a healthy collaboration spirit. The enterprising students of Class VI showcased their talent by creating innovative and inspiring almanac cover pages reflecting the core values imparted by DAV institutions in the Almanac Cover Page Designing Competition; the team of Class VII and VIII displayed their artistic finesse and love for folk art in the Bamboo Plate Decoration (Folk Art) Competition. The exhibits were proof of the dedicated efforts of the students and their mentors and mesmerised the onlookers.  The Arvali House raised the banner of their house by bagging the first position in both competitions, and the Himalaya House clinched the second position in both events. At the same time, Vindhyachal House stood third in the Almanac Cover Page Designing Competition and Shivalik House bagged third position in the Bamboo Plate Decoration Competition. The School Principal appreciated the smooth conduct of the events under the able supervision of Ms.AshuPanditaKaul, the Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment and stressed the importance of competitions in the holistic development of the students and encouraged the young learners to participate more in such contests.
