Yellow Week Celebration

Yellow – the colour of sunshine, happiness, cheerfulness, and innocence – holds a special charm, especially for young minds. To celebrate this vibrant colour, the Pre-Primary segment of D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad joyfully observed Yellow Colour Week under the inspiring leadership of Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota.
The celebration was a visual delight as both students and teachers came dressed in bright yellow attire, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. A variety of engaging activities were organised throughout the week, helping children learn to identify, sort, and classify objects based on colour — thus strengthening their cognitive and observational skills.
Children enthusiastically took part in creative art and craft activities centred around the yellow theme. From adorable sunflowers to buzzing bees, their little hands brought imagination to life. Adding to the excitement, students brought yellow-coloured food items in their lunchboxes, turning mealtime into a colourful and delicious experience. To add to the celebration and fun, the children also enjoyed a Yellow bus ride.
The Yellow Week celebration was not just about colour — it was a meaningful learning journey filled with fun, creativity, and joyful exploration.
