On May 1, 2025, the students of Class 5C at D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, conducted a special assembly on the theme “Glorified D.A.V.” under the inspiring guidance of their Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota.

The assembly was a heartfelt tribute to the rich legacy, values, and vision of the D.A.V. institution. The students proudly highlighted the contributions of the Arya Samaj and Mahatma Hansraj in laying the foundation of an educational movement that blends Vedic values with modern education.

The programme began with a disciplined and graceful prayer, setting a spiritual tone. Students presented speeches reflecting on the glorious journey of D.A.V., its nationwide presence, and its commitment to excellence in education, character building, and social responsibility.

With the support of their class teacher and the Supervisory Head of the Primary Segment, Ms. Adarsh Sharma, the students showcased a variety of performances. The highlights included a soul-stirring group song praising the ideals of D.A.V. and a vibrant dance performance symbolizing the unity and strength of the institution.

As part of the assembly, a Health Talk was also conducted to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The session encouraged students to adopt good habits such as balanced eating, regular exercise, proper hygiene, and adequate sleep. The informative talk empowered young minds to make healthier choices for their physical and mental well-being.

The assembly concluded with a sense of pride and purpose, as students pledged to uphold the values of truth, discipline, and service, continuing to bring glory to the D.A.V. institution in all spheres of life.
