Red Colour Celebration
The Pre-Primary Segment of D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad, celebrated Red Colour Week with great enthusiasm and excitement under the visionary guidance of the Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota. The objective of the celebration was to introduce children to the concept of colours in a fun and engaging manner, with a special focus on the colour Red, which symbolizes love, energy, and passion.
On this special day, both students and teachers came dressed in beautiful red attire. The little ones brought handmade red items from home such as fruits, flowers, and soft toys, and shared them with their classmates during a Show-and-Tell activity. The Supervisory Head, Ms. Adarsh Sharma, interacted warmly with the students and discussed various red-coloured objects with them.
Several engaging activities were conducted throughout the day, including:
Making of cherries using bottle caps
Crafting red flowers with bottle printing
Creating a red ball using paper crumpling technique
The celebration helped reinforce the concept of the colour red through visual and sensory experiences, making it a memorable and enjoyable learning experience for the young learners.
