Report on Farewell Class XII
A perfect blend of tradition, emotion and celebration.
The Farewell ceremony for the outgoing batch of Class XII students was held on 28th January 2025 under the able guidance of the Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota and Supervisory Head Ms. Sumita Dey. The event was a heartwarming and emotional celebration, marking the end of an era for the Class XII students.
The event began with a warm welcome to the students of Class XII, accompanied by the traditional tilak ceremony. This was followed by the auspicious Hawan and the distribution of Prasad symbolising blessings for their future journey. The Principal Ma’am and teachers then showered their blessings on the students.
A special moment of the ceremony was the welcoming of the Principal Ma’am and Supervisory Heads with planters, a gesture symbolizing growth and prosperity. The Pre-Primary students showcased their talent with a beautiful dance performance, followed by the distribution of gifts to the young performers.
The ceremony also included an array of speeches and anecdotes from the student leaders. Arushi Sharma, the Head Girl, shared her heartfelt reflections about her journey at the school, while Archit Dogra, the Head Boy, spoke about the invaluable experiences and precious memories they gained. The students were then honoured with trophies, sashes, and certificates for their remarkable achievements in various school events.
The group song performed by Class XII students added a soulful touch to the event. Teachers' Song brought a sense of unity and nostalgia to the occasion followed by a mesmerizing dance performance by Class XII girls.
A special speech was given by Ms. Sumita Dey, the Supervisory head. The Principal Ma’am then blessed the students, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement for their future endeavors. Refreshments were served and the event concluded with the Shanti Path providing the students with a memorable send-off as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
