Wildlife Conservation Day

‘The greatest threat to the environment is the belief that someone else will save it.’

Caring for the environment is one of the prime duties of every human being. D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad understands its responsibility towards the environment and leaves no stone unturned to raise awareness among the students towards this dire need. The students of Class VI F, under the influence of the dynamic School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, presented a class assembly on World Wildlife Conservation Day – Save Wildlife and the Planet on December 4, 2024, stressing the need to save wildlife and conserve the fast-depleting resources of the earth. A convincing speech, emphasizing the importance of living sustainably and peaceful co-existence, was well-appreciated. The students successfully presented a splendidly orchestrated musical medley conveying the message that wildlife is the most important component of our planet and its conservation is our sole responsibility. The Principal appreciated the splendid assembly programme and congratulated the students for their sincere efforts. She reiterated that the earth does not belong to us, rather we have borrowed it from our children. She also stressed the need to conserve and preserve not only the resources but also the flora and fauna of the earth. The Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment, Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul praised the students for the informative presentation. The show culminated with Samapan Geet and Jai Gosh.
