Achievements result from hardwork, diligence and perseverance put in relentlessly in the pursuit of a goal. In recognition of the brilliant academic performance of the students of the Middle and the Secondary Segments, D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad organised a Scholar Badge Ceremony on 10 December, 2024, under the guidance of the dynamic School Principal, Ms. DeeptiJagota.
Scholar Badges are awarded to the students who have achieved more than 80% in aggregate and 75% and above in all the subjects in the Final Examination.
Distinguished Guests, Shri. S.K. Sopory, an Indian Educationist, Plant Physiologist, Scientist, Former Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Vice-President, DAV College Managing Committee and Chairman of the School along withShri. S.S. Chaudhary, outstanding Educationist and LMC Member of the school and Ms. Diksha Sharma, an Achiever Alumna(2014 batch) graced the occasion and were accorded a warm welcome with eco-friendly planters.
More than 300 students were felicitated for their meritorious performance in the session- 2023-24. It was a proud moment for the teachers and parents to watch their protégées receiving the badges and certificates from the eminent luminaries. The meritorious students who excelled in academics by securing the Scholar Badge for five consecutive years, were awarded the Blue blazers and the students who shone bright exceptionally in Co-Scholastic areas received Green blazers, testifying their relentless pursuit of excellence. A scintillating dance performance filled the gathering with awe.
Shri.Soporiji, in his address, congratulated the brilliant students for their accomplishments and encouraged them to strive not only for material success but also towards leading a life dedicated to the betterment of humanity. He also appreciated the students for being well-mannered and courteous, indicating the high moral standards inculcated at DAV schools. The School Principal presented the Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude towards everyone who contributed in making the event a grand success. The occasion came to a close with SamapanGeet and Jai Gosh.
