Practicing mindfulness and sustainability has always been one of the core values practised by D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad.

Every year, millions of electronic devices are discarded and these discarded devices are considered e-waste and can become a threat to health and the environment, if they are not disposed of and recycled appropriately. To create awareness of this global nuisance, on 16 October, 2024, the vivacious students of Class VI A, under the stewardship of the dynamic School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, captivated the audience with  a magnificent Class presentation on the theme - Recycle Your Tech, Save the planet. They efficiently showcased how e-waste management can be seamlessly incorporated into our society, the long-term benefits it offers, and its critical role in ensuring a sustainable future.

The enthusiastic students, with a thought-provoking speech, a lively skit using placards and banners and an enervating dance performance, put forth the message vividly across the auditorium. The School Principal, while addressing the audience, lauded the splendid show put up by the students and urged the audience to reduce e-waste, to leave less carbon footprints and to adopt a minimalistic sustainable lifestyle to save the planet from further damage. The Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment, Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul and the parents also appreciated the students for the  well-crafted show.
