VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME

D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad organised a visit for Class XI and XII (Home Science students) to Janak Sewa Samiti (Old Age Home, Sector 19, Faridabad) on August 27,2024 under the guidance of the Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota.

The purpose of visit was to make the students realise their social responsibilities towards senior citizens. The visit intended to teach them to interact with the elderly, make them feel special, happy and bring smile on their faces.

The students interacted with the elderly people, this was followed by an entertainment program with a bhajan  and  a poem.

Our enthusiastic students contributed their best during their visit. They wholeheartedly donated grocery items, utensils, fruits and vegetables.

The visit to old age home concluded with loads of warmth and showers of blessings extended by the elderly. They bid goodbye with tearful eyes and with a promise to revisit them once again.
