REPORT OF “INVESTITURE CEREMONY”

D.A.V Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad conducted its Annual Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm and pride on 9 August 2024 on the school stage. The event marked the induction of a new leadership tenure for the session 2025-26 with the official appointment of new Students Council and the House Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Captain, Vice Sports Captain, Prefects under the dynamic leadership of the school Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota.

The occasion was graced by Ms. Archa Bhardwaj, our school alumna of 2008 batch, who is currently serving as a Section Officer in the Prime Minister's Office, New Delhi with over 9 years of work experience. She plays a vital role in the timely release of funds under the Prime Minister National Relief Fund, aiding the needy in their medical treatment.

The ceremony began with Gayatri Mantra, followed by DAV Gaan. Report of achievements of the preceding session of classes IX to XII was presented by Arushi Sharma - the Head girl of the session 2023-24. The new Student Council was entitled with sash and badges by our Honourable Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota, Guest of Honour Ms. Archa Bhardwaj with Middle wing Supervisor Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul.

A handover ceremony of the school’s flag was performed to make new appointments official. It was followed by House Badge Ceremony of various houses (classes IX to XII). The newly elected Student Council Members took the oath with school students pledging their commitment for upholding the values and principles of the school.

It was followed by Inter School Prize Distribution to felicitate the winners of various InterSchool competitions.

The Guest of Honour, Ms. Archa Bhardwaj motivated the students with her inspiring words. This was followed by the speech of honourable Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota. The event concluded with national anthem followed by Samaapan Geet and Jai Ghosh.
