Inter-House Sports Tournament for Secondary & Sr. Secondary students

The Inter-House Sports Tournament held at D.A.V. Public School showcased competitive spirit and sportsmanship among students from classes 9 to 12 under the able guidance, support and leadership of the School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota and  Supervisory Head, Ms. Sumita Dey. The events featured two main competitions:
Football ( Boys) and Badminton (Girls) with teams representing different houses within the school.

In the boys’ football tournament, teams from various houses displayed exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the matches. Ultimately, Nilgiri House emerged victorious, clinching the championship title after a series of closely contested games demonstrating resilience and strategic play, securing their win followed by Himalaya and Shivalik House. Simultaneously, the girls’ badminton tournament unfolded with remarkable agility and finesse on the court. Everest House distinguished themselves by claiming the championship in a thrilling finale followed by Nilgiri and Shivalik House. Their consistent performances and determination throughout the tournament culminated in a well-deserved victory.

The Inter-House Sports Tournament not only highlighted the athletic prowess of students but also promoted teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
