 India celebrates National Sports Day on August 29th. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of the hockey legend Sh. Dhyan Chand ji. At D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad , under the leadership of Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota, the day is observed to inspire students to actively participate in sports and games, promoting health and positivity. During this occasion, the Primary Segment of the school organised a special assembly under the guidance of its Supervisory Head Ms. Dimple Bhatia,  The students from Class 4D portrayed various Indian sports personalities, aiming to educate their peers about the importance of maintaining good health. The energetic dance performance added vibrancy to the atmosphere, leaving parents in awe of their children's stage presence. Ms. Dimple Bhatia extended her greetings to the parents and commended the efforts of Class Teacher Ms. Vinita Bhari, Sports Teacher Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, and the students of Class 4D for their outstanding contributions. In her address, she also celebrated the successful landing of Chandrayaan on the moon the previous day, considering it a moment of pride for the entire audience.
