EVALUATION AND EXAMINATION SCHEME

1. No formal examination is conducted for classes Nursery to II. These classes have Continuous Assessment.

2. Classes  III-XII have a system of assessment through Unit Tests conducted on every Monday/Thursday.For Class X, the marks will be sent to CBSE  for Internal Assessment.

3. The students of classes III-IX will be assessed through Half Yearly / a Mid-Term and an Annual Examination.A revision Test will also be conducted for the students of classes VIII & IX.

4. Notebook submission is a part of this assessment. The notebooks will be assessed on the basis of regularity, assignment completion, neatness and upkeep four times during the session.

5. Subject Enrichment  Activities in each subject will be conducted in Half Yearly Examination and Annual Examination.

6. The school will conduct three Periodic Written Tests - Pre Mid-Term, Mid-Term and Post Mid-Term for class X. 

7. A Half-Yearly, a Revision Test and an Annual Examination are conducted for Class Xl.

8. Keeping in view the extensive and thorough preparation required for the public examination, the school conducts a Revision Test I, Half Yearly Examination,Revision Test II, and  Pre-Board Examination for class XII.

9. Promotions are decided by the Principal and granted on the basis of marks / grades obtained in the tests/examinations conducted by the school.

THE SYSTEM OF AWARDS

1. Prizes are awarded for Scholastic achievements (Academic Excellence)

2. Students are also awarded for their Co-Scholastic achievements in various categories from time to time.

3. Prizes for events in sports and athletics are awarded after viewing the merit of competitors by the Games and Sports committee. 

4. Students scoring 75% in each subject and 80% in aggregate will be awarded a Scholar Badge from class VI onwards. If a child falls in the above criteria consecutively for five years, she/he will be bestowed with School Colour.
