Report of Class 3A morning assembly on ‘International Day for Poverty Eradication 2021’- 17th October.
“This year’s theme: “Building forward together. Ending Persistent Poverty, Respecting all people and our planet.”
Class – 3A Primary Wing of D.A.V. Public School, Sector – 37, Faridabad under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Deepti Jagota presented its assembly on 19th October 2021. The topic was ‘International Day for Poverty Eradication’. As declared by UN General Assembly 17th October every year is observed as ‘International Day for Poverty Eradication’. This day is observed to raise awareness about the struggle of people living in poverty. The day aims to find ways to mitigate and eradicate poverty, acknowledge the effort and struggle of people living in poverty and give them a chance to be heard. The students focused on what they can do to reduce poverty at their level. They can create awareness and spread the message to reduce poverty, donate to needy people and should also volunteer with their parents to be a part of a fund raiser organizations to help people.
