Report on Intra House Competition (April)

Competition makes you better, always, always makes you better even if the competitor wins.

D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad strives not only academic excellence but also to foster holistic development of the students. Envisioned by the dedicated School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, an Intra House Competition was organised for the students of the Middle Segment on April 19, 2024 with an objective to provide opportunities for the students to give vent to their creative expressions. Students of Class VI showcased their skills in using ice-cream sticks to create imaginative designs in the Fun With Ice- Cream Sticks Competition while Class VII enthusiasts demonstrated their skill in using colourful threads to craft intricate patterns during the Thread Art Competition and in the Puppet Making Category, Class VIII students unleashed their imagination to design and create expressive puppets using various materials. Each piece reflected the unique vision, originality and creativity of the students. The competition brought out the artistic prowess of the students while they displayed remarkable craftsmanship and dexterity. The Supervisory Head of the Middle Segment, Ms. Ashu Pandita Kaul, appreciated the efforts of the young talents and urged them to use such platforms to enhance their skills. Overall, the Intra-House competition was a resounding success fostering self-reliance and ingenuity.
