Display Board Competition
The Inter-House Display Board Competition on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was held by Primary Segment on August 11,2023 at D.A.V Public School,Sector-37, Faridabad under the guidance of its Visionary Principal Ms.Deepti Jagota and the Supervisory Head Ms.Dimple Bhatia. The competition aimed to promote awareness and understanding of the SDGs among students and encourage creative expression in showcasing their importance.The competition involved participation from all six houses . Each house was assigned three of the SDGs to focus on. The event was judged by a panel of Three Judges with expertise in relevant fields. Students from grade 3 to 5 levels enthusiastically participated in designing and creating the display boards. They used a combination of visual aids, text, and interactive elements to convey the essence of their assigned SDG. This engagement fostered teamwork, research skills, and a deeper understanding of global challenges.

The display boards were assessed based on creativity, clarity of information, relevance to the assigned SDG, visual impact, and overall presentation. The judges considered how effectively the students communicated complex global challenges and the potential solutions outlined in the SDGs.
After careful evaluation, the judges declared the winners as follows:
1st Place: Aravali House for its outstanding display .
2nd Place: Everest House for its creative representation.
3rd Place: Shivalik House for its impactful portrayal.
The Competition successfully achieved its objectives of raising awareness about the SDGs, fostering student engagement, and encouraging creative expression. The event highlighted the potential of young minds to understand and address global challenges. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue to inspire students to become active contributors to a more sustainable future aligned with the United Nations' SDGs.
