'Dream  Catcher' making competition at D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37

'When threads of creativity tie together miracles are bound to happen!'

Inter House Dream Catcher making competition was organised in D.A.V Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad on May 12, 2023 for the students of classes VI, VII and VIII. Students of all the six houses participated in it. Each team consisted of three members. The event lasted for a duration of two hours. Dream Catchers were originally made by Native American people. They are designed to catch any nightmare so that children can have peaceful and beautiful dreams. Students used their imagination and creativity using yarns, beads, ribbons, laces, handcrafted flowers and vibrant feathers.The fun- filled activity brought together all good energy and set aside all bad energy. Ms. Geeta Whig and Ms. Shalini Sharma were the coordinators of the event. The creativity of the students left every onlooker astounded. Aravali House students bagged the First Position. Second Position was won by Vindhyachal House. There was a tie for Third Position between Everest and Nilgiri House. Supervisory Head, Ms. Adarsh Sharma was enthralled by the mystic charm and intricate beauty of dream catchers and applauded the efforts of avid crafters.
