Emotions play an important role in how you think and behave. They influence substantially on the cognitive processes in humans affecting their perception, attention, memory, reasoning and problem solving abilities. So perceiving the need for uplifting the emotional well-being of the students, D.A.V. Public School Sector 37, Faridabad, under the able guidance of their visionary Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota,  organised a Virtual Counselling Session for the students of Class VI on 22nd July, 2021 on the topic Understanding your Emotions by Ms. Pratishtha Satsangi-Psychologist and a trained School Counsellor. The activity based session was an incredible and enriching experience for all the attendees as the nuances of emotional well-being were shared with the students. The interactive session gave the students an opportunity to share their feelings freely and understand every emotion and its importance.
