The 71^st Republic Day was celebrated at D.A.V.Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad with immense passion and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the hoisting of National Flag. The Bag-Pipe band of the students brought the stage alive with their love for motherland by playing National Anthem. The ambience was filled with patriotic fervor with the rhythm and melody of “Sare Jahan Se Accha.” This was followed by impactful speeches, patriotic poem and enthralling Rajasthani folk dance based on Tereh Taali. The melodious music and graceful dance moments made the audience spell bound.

Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota addressed the audience and urged to uphold the honor and uniqueness of India. She encouraged them to witness National Parade, Beating the Retreat Ceremony and to remember the great freedom fighters, soldiers and leaders who laid their lives for the motherland. She also told them to do their best and feel proud to be Indians. The whole school celebrated the Republic day with immense joy and pride.
