A Tree Plantation programme was held in D.A.V. Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad from 7^th to 9^th August, 2019 under the guidance of Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota and in the presence of Supervisory Heads Ms. Meena Das Thakur, Ms. Sumita Dey, Ms. Adarsh Sharma and Ms. Sadhna Bhat. The main aim of this programme was to spread and create awareness to protect the environment. The students of Classes III to XI planted nearly 200 saplings of different variety such as Guava, Jamun, Peepal, Gulmohar and Teak in the campus in a well organized way. They were highly enthusiastic while planting and watering the plants and promised to take care of these plants. The Gardners also gave information about the plants and their uses to the students. This “Paudhagiri” was a success as each student contributed profoundly towards this programme.
