REPORT ON INTER HOUSE DISPLAY BOARD COMPETITION
“Display Boards are educational self-teaching tools”
An Inter House Display Board Competition was held on 18th and 19th of July in D.A.V Public School, Sector-37, Faridabad. Students were required to decorate the allotted soft board with relevant content on the topic assigned. The enthusiastic students worked on the theme and displayed beautiful artwork.
Different topics were assigned to different houses:
Aravali House: India and Space
Everest House: Incredibly brave Indian Soldiers
Himalaya House: Swachh Bharat
Nilgiri House: Every day is Earth Day
Shivalik House: Water Is Life
Vindhyachal House: Meditation and Yoga- way of Life
Thematic boards decorated with vibrant sketches, inspirational messages and effective borders were prepared by students of six houses under the guidance of teacher-in charges were displayed. These boards were judged on relevance of theme, borders, colour scheme and overall presentation. Supervisory Heads, Ms. Sumita Dey & Ms. Adarsh Sharma appreciated, motivated and inspired students to keep their imagination and artistic expressions alive in all the pursuits of life.
In this competition Shivalik House got first position, Aravali house got second position and Vindhyachal House got third position. Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota not only boosted the creative expression but also encouraged the students to think about various important aspects of life.
