Report on Industrial visit

An Industrial visit to “Marwah Studios Complex”, Sector 16, Film City, Noida was organized by DAV-37 on Saturday, 3rd November’2018. Thirty Seven Mass Media students and two faculties (Ms. Nisha Bhatia and Mr. Bhawan Singh Rana) visited Marwah Studios Complex to interact with the media  Industry to understand the latest interior studio setup (Croma), technical formulation of music industry and Radio Production.

Mr. Sahil Kharbanda Business Operations Head addressed the students and introduced Marwah’s Group. He explained about the area’s like Studios- interior and exterior, Music industry, 107.4 FM Awaaz Noida ki, Fashion industry etc.

Later Mr. Santosh, Incharge-Visual effect and Graphic, explained the different steps in acting and role of studio. In croma studio, some students performed Double and Para dubbing role as per instructions. After this students visited radio channel 107.4 FM to know the production of radio for musical and spoken words programmes. RJ Ms. Rounak interacted with students for ON- AIR. Students gave some social messages and shared their school life experiences on radio.

Mr. Vikas, HOD- School of Cinema, conducted very informative session for the students. He motivated the students to select their domain and area of interest.  He also guided the students to select the areas like Writing, Acting, Reporting, Anchoring etc. and its importance in the current media market/film industry. The session was concluded with Question-Answer session. Many of the students asked different questions on current film, screening, acting etc. and he cleared all the doubts and myths which was in students mind about this sector. All students were satisfied with the session.  It was an informative, interesting and a successful visit.
