The Primary Segment of D.A.V.Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad held its Appreciation Day Ceremony on 31^st January,2019. The auspicious chanting of the Gayatri Mantra seeking the blessings of the almighty marked the beginning of the remarkable day. The visionary, vibrant and esteemed School Principal, Ms. Deepti Jagota was welcomed by the Supervisory Head of the Primary Segment, Ms. Sadhna Bhat, along with the students of the Council with a planter. The school choir with the melodious rendition held the audience spell-bound. Swaying blissfully to the tunes of Chattisgarh folk dance, the young dancers of the primary segment in their colourful costumes took the spectators to the ‘land of rice bowl’. The meritorious students of classes 3 to 5 were felicitated with trophies and certificates for their brilliant performance in academics. In her address, the dynamic School Principal congratulated the accomplished achievers,who proved their mettle not only in academics but also in co-scholastics areas along with their parents. She apprised them about the plethora of activities and events planned for realizing the holistic development of the pupils. She also stressed that constant communication and interaction helps ensure that both school and home are responsive to students’ unique needs and therefore conducive for the children’s overall development.
