Report on Sports Meet - Primary Segment

"Every Champion was once a contender who refused to give up."

Keeping the above quote in mind,D.A.V. Public School,Sector-37 organised its Annual Sports Meet for the students of Primary Segment from 7th to 9th February, 2023 under the guidance of its visionary Principal Ms.Deepti Jagota and the Supervisory Head Ms.Dimple Bhatia. All these three days were filled with excitement,thrills and cheers.The great deal of enthusiasm was seen in the students and

faculty members.The students of all the six different houses competed against each other in sports events like Long Jump,Short Put,Rabbit Race,Obstacle Race,50 Metres Hurdle Race,50 Metres Flat Race.4×100 Metres Relay Race on 7th and 8th February.

The Sports Meet came to a close on 9th February,2023.The day was bright and welcomed the little Sports Champions.It started with a great thought of the Sports Department,who took charge of making the students sit in the five rings,the symbol of Olympic with INDIA written in front.It was an amazing sight.

The school choir on the stage mesmerized the audience with their melody.The champions of the various events were conferred with medals and certificates by the school Principal, who in her address, encouraged the students to participate in different sports activities which make everyone's life interesting and teach us to work hard and push our limits to reach a new height.The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the Samapan Geet.
