Report on Investiture Ceremony

To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, D.A.V.Public School,Sector 37, Faridabad, under the able guidance of the visionaryPrincipal, Ms. Deepti Jagota, conducted the Investiture Ceremony of the Middle Segment on 24 August, 2022 with zeal and zest. Investiture Ceremony is a momentous occasion where the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility upon the newly elected Prefectorial Board after scrutinous rounds of interviews and selection. The event started with the chanting of the revered Gayatri Mantra, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The school choir enchanted everyone with a peppy motivational songwhich perfectly suited the event. The song told the students how to overcome their challenges and never give up whatever the situation may be. The outgoing Yojak  and  Yojika, Ojas Thakkar and Jeevika shared their experiences and expressed gratitude to the teachers with their heartfelt speech.The newly elected Yojak, Aryan Bhardwaj of Class VIII E and Yojika, Shrishti Thakur of Class VIII A, along with the Prefects of the Six Houses were conferred with badges followed by the oath ceremony which was led by Yojika, Shrishti Thakur.The dynamic Supervisory Head, Ms. Adarsh Sharma,expressing her earnest joy, congratulated the young leaders and commended on their preparedness to take on the responsibilities upon their tender shoulders. The event culminated with Shanti Path.
