REPORT ON FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0

D.A.V PUBLIC SCHOOL, SECTOR 37, FARIDABAD complied wholeheartedly with PM Shri. Narendra Modi’s ‘FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0’ from 13^th August 2021 to 2^nd October 2021. This is a noble initiative of our honorable PM to make ‘fitness and health’ the very essence of life, especially for the youth of India. It is a nation wide campaign that aims at encouraging people to include physical activity in their everyday routine and make fitness an integral part of their daily lives.

DAV School  stands steadfastly for fitness, health and all round development of the mind, body and soul of its students and staff. It has been the constant endeavor of the school to advocate and encourage our students to engage in activities that enhance their  overall well-being.

Under the able guidance and support of the Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota , the students, their parents and staff members were encouraged to intake healthy food, maintain healthy lifestyle and engage in exercises at home keeping in mind the current Corona Pandemic. Most supportive and positive responses were received from the students, their parents and staff members. The students from all the levels participated with gusto and zeal and shared the inspiring videos of their daily healthy routines with the school and teachers. Around 500 parents, students and teachers participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.

Our school is proud and happy to be a part of this drive and we stand by the PM’s ‘Fit India Programme’ in full spirit.
