DAVians always stand out from the rest, be it academics, cultural activities or sports. Over the years our school has produced a number of excellent students in academics who, in the future take the reputation of the school to new heights. And what better way to appreciate and congratulate them than awarding them with mementoes and certificates of appreciation!

Keeping this in mind, the Appreciation Day is organized every year to reward these achievers.  The ceremony commenced by invoking God’s blessings, followed by the welcome address which opened with a quote by Aristotle “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act but a habit.”
To lift the spirits of young students and to inspire them to become future leaders, trophies and certificates were awarded to all the meritorious achievers of classes VI to IX and XI. 41 students of Class VI, 31 students of Class VII and 14 students of Class VIII, 13 students of Class IX and 38 students of Class XI who excelled in scholastic subjects in the session   2018-19 received Certificates of Merit and Awards. The annual 100% regular attendance awards and Certificates of Appreciation were received by 12 students of classes VI-VIII. Certificates of Excellence were awarded to three toppers of class VIII Board Examination conducted by D.A.V. Centre of Academic Excellence. The Principal Ms. Deepti Jagota congratulated the winners along with their parents and encouraged more to be on stage next year. It was an attempt to appreciate the efforts students put in and encouraging them to keep up the good work.
